This is a poetic reflection on the ascension of Christ. "While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising God."
We are called to "enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise". We need to have a thankful heart for everything He has given us, from long walks to chocolate to laughter. But the ultimate praise goes up to Him because... He Lives!
