A worship video from the Urbana missions convention. We Believe uses images from everyday life and artist Gustav Dore to illuminate how Jesus is Lord of all.
Of all the untouchable and unknowable celebrities, there is one who is accessible, approachable, and eager to meet us. The personal Jesus is real and aches to be known. So what are we waiting for?
Peter, James Andrew, Matthew...the list of early disciples martyred for their faith includes many eyewitnesses to the death and resurrection of Christ. Would they die for a lie? This compelling monologue ponders the violent deaths of the apostles and what these testimonies tell us about the truth of the resurrection account.
Fact or Fairytale? What do people think about Easter and Jesus’ resurrection? Is this a true and miraculous story of God’s power over death or an ancient fairytale used to promote morals and good behavior? If the story is true, how does it impact your life? What did it take to convince you of its validity? What would it take for you to believe?
Meditation Rise Listen to the music, view the images and consider the steps that Christ took on His journey through life, to the cross and ultimately to the right hand of the Father.

This is a poetic reflection on the ascension of Christ. "While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising God."
We are called to "enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise". We need to have a thankful heart for everything He has given us, from long walks to chocolate to laughter. But the ultimate praise goes up to Him because... He Lives!
